REST and GraphQL APIs, microservices, background workers. We write in Python and Go mostly, with Node.js where it makes sense. If it needs to handle load and not fall over at 3 AM, that's our thing.
ETL pipelines, data warehouses, dashboards. We help teams go from "we have data somewhere" to "we can actually make decisions with this." PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, BigQuery—whatever fits.
AWS, GCP, bare metal—we set up the servers, CI/CD, monitoring, and make sure deployments don't require a prayer. Docker, Terraform, the usual suspects.
When the project needs a face, we build that too. React, Next.js, or whatever the frontend calls for. We'd rather build the whole thing end-to-end than hand off half-finished work.
Small team. Direct access. We skip the overhead.
No project managers relaying messages. No "I'll check with the team." You talk to the engineers doing the work, and decisions happen fast.
Working software first, polish second. We'd rather get something real in front of you in two weeks than spend two months on a spec nobody reads.
Handing off code and disappearing isn't our style. If something breaks in production, we're on it. We treat your systems like our own because honestly, our reputation depends on it.

The name comes from Merkle trees—a data structure where every piece is verifiable and nothing hides. Felt like a good name for a company that does the same.
Full-stack engineer who's most comfortable in Python, Go, and TypeScript. Spends most of his time on backend architecture, data pipelines, quantitative systems, and API design. Hands-on with every project—from system design to writing the actual code to making sure it runs in production. Based in Taipei.
